Here are some photos of the cage. These are 24 x 20 playtops.

For what it's worth, it is a gorgeous cage!

I wish they would change the design of those latches on the feeders.....mine are all failing after 6 years, and that's after being EXTREMELY careful never to overtighten them. Make sure to have a backup acrylic or stainless panel to block the hole in case one of the feeders break. Mine broke in the morning and I was stuck trying to figure out how to prevent Mav from escaping while I was at work!

Well, that didn't take long.

After 1 short month of ownership, the latch on one of the doors is broken. All the doors (food doors included) have this same type of latch.

The stainless cages that will "last a lifetime", will in fact...not.

I would never spend this much money on cages again. For the amount of money we spent (and these cages were on clearance and almost 50% off) I could have bought new cages every few years for the next 15 years.

That is too bad and totally sucks that your cage is already broken. I have had my Freedom Deltona cage since 2001 and nothing has broken and has held up to my scrubbing on it for cleaning. Back in 2001 I paid $1700 for my SS cage.

I also have a SS Kings 406 cage. It weights a TON (well 210 pounds) and that thing is like a tank. I bought that cage in 2002 for I think $1700 as well and I can't wreak that cage if I tried. My RFM lives in the Kings and the Freedom will be used for the second medium size parrot I will be looking to get in the Spring. I guess if I had a complaint on the Freedom I would say the dishes in the freedom buffet are HUGE. I have on many a time caught my Noble Macaw laying in his food dish. I wish I was able to get a picture of him doing that. It was pretty funny.

I am so sorry for your experience with your Liberty cages. Stainless steel cages normally are suppose to be an investment and last many many years. I will say other than the Kings weighing a lot I am very happy with both my SS cages.

That sucks, have you considered contacting the company with how unhappy you were with their service and quality of products?

I have!

And I don't expect him to do much.

I had to contact him every time about the shipping. I had to ask repeatedly about when the cages were shipping. I had to ask for the tracking number.

I told him I was unhappy about the time it took ship. He did nothing.

I told him I didn't have the delivery even though it was several days past the scheduled delivery date. He told ME to call the freight company. I had to talk to them 3 times.

I told him the delivery issues were because he gave them the wrong phone number for me. He did nothing. Not even apologize.

I'm thinking his pattern of customer service won't be any different when I tell him I already have a broken latch. :(

I wish I saw this before I ordered a cage in late March. I received this "Business Failure" e-mail from Scott the other day. The website has been taken down. Luckily I am covered with Paypal but have to wait 10 days for the claim process.

I regret to inform you that Liberty Cage Company has failed as a result of complications with the factory we were using to manufacture the products. Your order will not be completed and/or delivered. At this time, the factory owes Liberty deposits which we have no idea if and/or when we will receive these funds. Liberty does not have the funds to issue refunds on orders pending. We suggest that you file a chargeback with your credit card company, which we will not dispute. In the event you are unable to recover the monies paid to Liberty, I will, personally, repay all of you as soon as I am able, no matter how long it takes. Liberty suspended accepting new orders once all attempts to resolve this situation had been exhausted, but unfortunately your order was placed prior to this.
