Hey all!
I wanted to pop on here and share a gem I found while searching for safe kitchen appliances.
I found this Mueller toaster that states in the manual that "the product and all its parts are Teflon/PTFE, BPA, and PFOA free."
I know that this statement does not confirm with *certainty* that our babies will be safe around it, as some manufacturers use a coating that you must burn off prior to use (which I did with mine outside several times on the highest setting), but this is still a huge win!
Directly from the manufacturer that I emailed for more info-- they state:
"All the materials used are:
Brushed Stainless steel exterior
Teflon/PTFE free
BPA free
PFOA free
Interior is Galvanized Iron"

Hope this finds anyone who needs it and, as always, use your best judgement, burn off the toaster outside to remove manufacturing coatings, and cook away from your bird baby if possible!
