Parrots
Yes, I’ve been a bird owner since I was 8 years old.
Hello everyone, after losing my beloved birds Max and Jewel last Sunday, my house has been extremely quiet and sad.
My husband and I decided to adopt/buy another parrot, and I found a website called “exotic parrot pet store” that sells birds online.
Are you guys familiar with this vendor?
It seems like theirs prices are much lower than the rest of the competition, which made me question their credibility.
I would appreciate your advice.
Thank you!

"Too good to be true" prices are always a red flag. The reddest of red flags, however, is the sale of parrot eggs, and the website you're looking at is selling them so that tells me they're a scam. NO honest breeder or vendor would ever sell parrot eggs, so whenever you see that on their site the advice is always don't walk, RUN!!!

Run Faaaaar away!

I agree. Sites selling eggs of exotic species are not to be trusted. Check with your local avian to see if someone is looking to rehome.

I’m so sorry for the loss of your 2 parrots in the same day. That would be a very hard thing to go through. Your parrots were beautiful. Even on their dying days they are stunningly beautiful. I don’t mean to be rude or insensitive, but did you have a necropsy done? Parrots can pass away for a variety of reasons. I would hate to see you get a new parrot, and have the same results due to disease, or environmental factors.

Hello, if you are still looking for parrot, I am looking to rehome my umbrella cocatoo, 6 years old male. Let me know if you are interested.

You can typically find local birds for rehoming on Craigslist or similar sites. Never have a bird shipped, you need to see it first.
