So some of you may know that Bundii absolutely hates hands. I can touch her with any part of my body but not with my hands. I have been trying bribery in many forms but her sense of fear is so much stronger than anything I have tried. Peanut butter, nope, honey, nope, pine nuts, nope walnuts, nope.
Yesterday I found something that she was happy enough to walk on my hand. It is the kitchen pantry cupboard. I happened to have her on my shoulder whilst putting away the groceries. I did not think anything of it when I opened the cupboard and went to put some stuff away. She literally flew down my arm and sat on my hand while checking out the stuff in the cupboard.
I think we were both as shocked as each other. I was *SO* excited. I had tears in my eyes. It is the first time she voluntarily stood on my hand. I had to call hubby, who was at work, just to tell him of my breakthrough. I am so excited. Can you tell.
I think I might have created a monster though. Every time I go to the pantry now, Bundii expects to come *HELP* me. She is not much help through. Trying to get her beak on everything. I cannot complain though, I am so so so proud of my baby girl. Small steps to start so hopefully she will soon be loving our hands.
