After years of trying, I FINALLY go Parker to eat a mango!

Caught on camera no less. He’ll deny it if confronted! Mangoes are the devil!

The key: stuff it with a few nuts to get him to dig in! I’m finding this to be an invaluable method to encourage foraging and shredding.

What’s frustrating is he won’t eat anything cubes or chinked. The only way he will eat many fruits (like papaya- don mango) is if served whole. So this is so dang wasteful. But worth it if I look at it in terms of more a toy than a food item.

CUTE! Just be careful with the skin-I have read that it is harmful. I love that you keep trying---I feel like this is a HUGE deal for people who own parrots, but others are just like, so....hahah! Nicely done!

The concern with the skin is pesticides. Just wash and done! And you’re so right. It’s such a victory but it takes a certain person to understand!

He did far more damage to this thing than I thought he would. Not quite so much a waste anymore

Savor (!) the victory! My Peanut ignored pear for about 25 years before trying and enjoying.
