If You're Happy and You Know it, It's your Bird!!!
Here in the northeastern U.S., May brings us springtime weather, green grass, and leaves on the trees.
FINALLY!
What better reason to be happy? And, as luck would have it, May also brings us National Smile Day, AND, World Laughter Day.
So, I'll borrow a phrase from the late, great, Louis Armstrong, sorta...
When you're smiling, your whole flock smiles with you!
Let's see images of the joys of parronting. Your parrot looking particularly happy, even smiling, (yes, I totally believe they can smile)

That is too cute. I didn't think to add feathers. I save hers for dream catchers. My budgies have a friend, too! My birdsitter made it for them at Christmas. We stuff lost feathers in it and it has quite a tail now!View attachment 79995
Native American tradition. Weave thread, leather in circle type objects to resemblea web.. Place feathers to hang on or near bottom. The webbing catches the bad dreams, negative influences. The good/positive pass threw. Then use the feathers to travel to dreamer. Hung over beds especially children. This is work in progress. Need to add feathers around it. Family 'volunteers' me to make thwm for ill friends, etc. What's a dream catcher?
I freely admit to being a crochet-a-holic. I get asked for blankets, dolls, pillows, and more. I enjoy doing it. I miss working because someone somewhere was having a baby, getting married, anniversaries etc. Nameliss helps. She's an expert. She has her own set of crochet hooks. For reasons unknown she has to have the exact hook I'm using. Thanks for the explanation. Lovely idea and beautiful craft work. A dying art I'm sure. Don't you love being the "go-to" person because you have talent and skill? I'm the "go-to" person for anything medical in my family. What I don't know I will learn quickly. I like it most of the time as I'm sure you do.
