I have Psittavet and Scaly Face & Leg medications in my house at all times, just in case. And i must say having Psittavet on hand has saved me hundreds (as i already have ut the Vets cant charge me for giving some to me, and in emergency situations when time is of great importance, it is super handy!)

Are there other Medications for birds/parrots that could be very helpful to have on stand-by/just in case?

I was thinking of buying a few to have on hand fir emergencies. Like what is best for bloody wounds? Betadine? Or something else?

It's always wise to have all sorts of meds on hands especially for birds.

one you can get from the vet Kinny is Harrisons HealX cream....it wonderful.

Used for cuts, scrapes, etc... you rub it right on the wound and it sooths the area, AND you don't need to worry if they get any on their beak.(but they shouldn't cause your suppose to rub it right in.

cornstarch for cuts to stop the bleeding.

electrolytes when they are not well and refuse to drink on their own.

This is the second time in as many days that I've read of Psittavet. What is it for? I'd like to get a med kit for my boy organised.
