Lulu loves her mashed sweet potatoes!! What sort of mashes do you feed your birds?

I am still working on a formula that Chico likes. The last batch was 7 bean mix, garbanzo, wild rice, & plumped corn. I eliminated the mashed sweet potato as Chico does not care for it. I have learned to cook up a batch and spoon it into an ice cube tray sprayed with Pam. After freezing they are easily popped out and stored in an air tight container in the freezer for dispensing.

try giving the sweet potato raw, as with most veg.

Mishka loves sweet potato mashed with a little bit of gravy (salt free)
He gulps it down like it is the last meal on earth.
Also enjoying it with mince.

Oliver loves Roudybush soak and feed. I mash sweet potatoes, peas, and beans into the feed and he goes crazy for it.
