Hello Everyone,

it has been a while since I lasted posted. I put an update up in another forum thread though. So, without further ado;

I currently have 2 pairs of Conures. I think I may have put photos of the Black Caps up before... I can't rememeber... if not - then here they are... They have been upgarded to the divided avairy (H 2m x L 2m x W 2m per pair)

The Black Capped Coure pair (Apple & Cinnamon), will be 6yrs this year. I managed to get in contact with the guy who originally bred them (unrelated lines), and they have been paired up since they were 4 months old. I think that's an adorable fact to know. :p

The Crimson Bellied Conure pair (Crimson & Ruby) will be 4yrs this year. So far they're a little shy - however, they've only been home for a couple of days, so they just need to settle.

pretty parrots! I am so glad I got my black capped. I love his mannerisms. I got him from a lady and I believe my gf reminds him of her, he chases her hand around and tries to bite it and when he succeeds he laughs. Well, I think I laugh and he mocks me. either way it's super cute. I also love seeing him asleep when I walk down to his cage and he holds his head in a way that makes him look like he has no neck, and his speckled feathers stick out. I love seeing other black caps on here!

Its a little odd for me going down the avairy in the evening, it looks empty; both pairs sleep in the box. The Black Caps were the first Conures I got - and I love them - both will come right over when you go down to the avairy - they'll scream when they see someone coming up the backyard! Especially if they see the fruit & veg dishes :D
