One Green Cheeked Conure, name Chloe. And two parakeets - Opal and Jade.
A couple of months ago Chloe started dunking her food pellets in her water and eating them that way. She's seen the vet, had a beak trim and her beak seems okay. My husband suggested giving her a water source by her food and another on the other side of the cage. Right now she has a covered cup by her food, a tube on the opposite wall (it's a good sized cage - different from the photo) and a bath... All of which she puts food in!

At the moment things need to be refreshed a few times a day - which is not really my ideal way to spend my time at home :p Does anyone have any experience with this type of thing? Or any idea what I can do to have at least one clean water source?

Thank you :)

Use a water bottle too! :)

Water bottle will work. Mango dumps food in her bowl then bathes in it, but every time I try to bathe her she doesnt cooperate

I heard that it wasn't good to use a water bottle, as the little buggers might try to stuff pellets up into the mouth piece...I guess as long as the water bottle isn't the only water source, it won't be a big deal if it gets clogged with soggy pellets

I just keep changing my birdies water, a few times a day. First thing in the morning, when I get home from work, then again right before bed. :) on the weekend, I may throw in one more changing.

My conure would bathe and dip his food in his water bowl and it was really dirty so I would change it a lot. But now I have a water bottle and now he's probably more healthy.

this is one of the major suppliers for bird products in Canada.
the seed/water feeders are good for water, I use them sometimes, but I bought mine at the bird show for a lot less

just remember conures LOVE to bath, and should always have bath water available

Thank you, everyone! I will definitely pick up a water bottle (and keep a eye out for Chloe jamming up the pipes!). I'm not sure I would have thought of that option!

Besides the drinking and bath water in cage she gets offered both when she's out and about from temporary sources (stuff she doesn't have time to muck up ;)

Thank you, again :D
