I am happy to share with that, my rosella is starting to eat from my ... distant hand ), long stemmed vegetables like parsley, broccoli stem, celery sprig and he calmly tolerate my hand when i do some activity in cage, very close, witout escaping, mean some 10-15 cm. When my Quaker parrot Ralph holds up a foot it means that he wants to hold onto my finger. Ralph likes to "hold hands" with me sometimes. When we're ready for out of cage time, holding up a foot means that Ralph is ready to go and wants to step up Your Rosella may have something else in mind though.
