Oh Laura, darling girl, I wish there were some magic words that I could say to make this better, to make the pain go away, to bring Neptune home safely to you, but there aren't. Do not pay any attention to your family who say you should get over it, WE are your birdie family and we know how you feel about him. These people clearly have never been fortunate enough to share the special connection we have with our precious feather babies and will never understand that bond.

I'm still hopeful one day I will wake up to a post from you that Neptune is home! But we are here for you Laura, whatever happens we will ALWAYS be here for you.

I git a call at 2 that he was seen sitting on ladies porch and then flew over her fence! She said she got a good look st him and was definitely him!!!

I was there in a flash it’s one subdivision over, behind her house are wild grapes ready for eating!!! Across the road behind her house ( a little one lane road for people living on the marsh is a house with several bird baths ! And big plastic hoard hanging burd houses with big openings that he could be useing for a sleep hut!!

Thus is the second time this lady said she saw him but after I was there a few minutes it started to rain hard sbd thundering and lightning so had to cone home
And I’m freaked out because when I first was calling him a huge owl cane swooping down the wooded driveway just to my left I just caught him in thecirer of my eye as he sled die sdfewbscj I didn’t see if he caught my bat but it’s freakin me out so bad!!! Did I call him to doom !?!?!?!?! @@. Ugh my heart!!!

I’m just so afraid because the owl swooped st something !!! And I walked across to look the lady pulled in that lives there I was explain about my Psrrit and then the rain dumped down please don’t let me have turned him into owl bait!!!!! It’s so unfair!!! All I saw was flurry of owl wings as it turned back and flew off it’s wings so big they blocked if it had anything in its clutches !! I’m so scared so scared that he was coming to me....,,why else would the owl fly towards me? Pure panic in my heartb

Sending positive thoughts - he was seen, he’s been seen twice by this lady. I would go back to this location as soon as you can so that he knows you are there for him. Hopefully he hangs out in that vicinity - sounds like he might be using the amenities in her yard. Hoping for good outcomes...hugs to you in what I know is a stressful situation.

I dint know how to extract him from an area with an owl and a hawk. How do I call for him and sit wee he was seen with these predators ??? He will think he is safe flying to me or will be to distract flying to me and be vulnerable
I can’t sleep I’m so worried and so hopefully that I can find him tomorrow

Oh Laura, Neptune's survival skills are most impressive. Such close encounters, sending a universe of energy having him near enough for a reunion. Pack his favorite treats, a small cage if he is familiar, and plan to camp out the better part of a day if possible.

I know the prospect of the owl is a scary one, but his having been spotted twice is a positive development, Laura. He's found a place he can count on for food, which means you can narrow your search for the time being. Come on, Neptune! We're all rooting for you!

I think you are about 8 hours behind us here in the UK and I find myself on several occasions thinking about you and your plight. Just know that you are in my thoughts thousands of miles away. I hope you see him, that he sees you and understands how to get himself home.

Oh Neppy you are SOOO close to being back in your Mama's arms and back home where it is safe! Laura you have to give Neptune a bunch of credit for knowing he found a good place where there is food and shelter. do you think he saw you and recognized you?? The poor boy in blue wants to be with you so bad!! And your neighbor is such a sweetheart for providing for him and keeping you updated. It sucks about Mr Owl but it could be coincidence and he didn't even see Neppy You'll have him back soon I can feel it!!!

I have returned to this thread so many times today hoping for news. It is coming up to bedtime now and still nothing but I will turn in thinking of Neptune and hoping he makes a really good decision.

I couldn’t sleep last night I was so excited and hopeful
I went to the the ladies house she is on the edge of this different subdivision and there is a road behind her house outside the subdivision it’s a dead end road for some other Hines in the marsh
I wa there fir a few hours then these two kids in bikes cane race if up saying he was in the subdivision on the other side of the fence and tree line flying back and forth!!! Maybe he could hear me but couldn’t find me, so I had to drives big loop and enter the subdivision but I spent two hours in the 100 temps and didn’t see him,
The boys pointed out a dive and blue bird, so I don’t know if they saw him or not
I tried fir five hours but with no breakfast or lunch and the heat ( it’s very hard on my myasthenia gravis to get hot, I could speak sbd was have trouble breathing) so I cane home to rest and was going back but we have thunderstorms and rain again
I’m hopeful buts it’s very hard .....I spread the word and my number to many mire people who promised to look and call if he is seen , they have all seen my fliers, seen him in the next door app, and said the neighborhood is looking and rooting for me
