New parrot fan here

I’m new to parrots. We’ve been housemates with a Green Quaker since November and a Pineapple Conure a few weeks now.
The Conure has a shady history so I’m trying to find out information regarding his closed leg band. CTP MI 195

I believe he’s from Michigan but not sure of his hatch year. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Welcome to you and your conures! I am not familiar with leg band designations, but other members may have insight. Bands have been discussed in detail, suggest using the forum search engine for better access.

I have another forum that I check for leg bands and there were a few conures with CTP MI bands and the consensus was that the bands could be from Cotterman’s Talking Parrots in Fenton, Michigan - but no one was able to confirm.
