OK so attempt two. Not my attempt The budgies insist.

I am enjoying this. I have limited experience I have with baby birds. Chickens, mean geese, aggressive ducks and peacocks on the family farm. Exotic quail my mom raised in the basement. Happily these babies were self sufficient!
The biggest issue is my green cheeck is somehow smelling hormones so he's basically going to be in jail more or less till I feel confident. The sun conure will fly down to them and defend them.

If they lay another clutch you ought to try to stop the breeding because they could breed themselves to death. And you will be overrun with budgies.

Just want to give a shout out to the DAD... Kent jr. I haven't seen Dot go in but the DAD is feeding the babies. I have seen this. Maybe she is, but He's awesome. Also one bird slipped their cuffs and put back on I might have pics tonight after the other birds settle down.

Pictures the first two I took this morning, the third I just took. I wet his feet and am getting poop off.

The bands are working for the splayed legs.

Also both parents are yellow green? But the one is blue......?

I took both out for about 20 minutes to clean them up and make them perch in my hand legs in front.

What beautiful babies! Blue and green! If the down is white they're opaline. If it's light grey they're normal.
The blue ones parents both carry the blue gene hidden because blue is recessive to green.

The male came from of a clutch of four at least the "donors" said Yellow and Clark Jr. blue and scuti jr. (yellow, yellowgreen, blue, and white) I'm not sure they all came from same clutch but they said yes.

So, your male, the Dad, is green but carries blue. What's his name?
Who is the mom of these three?

Budgies aren't always faithful when they bred with other budgies around so one clutch can have different fathers. How many adult males do you have?

OK the Dad is Clark Jr that looked like my first conure being mostly green. Both females were from a craigslist post to buy two sisters as I was looking to see what to do after clark died and was empty. So no one is related genetic wise. Also the blue in pic 2 is the same in pic 3 just 8 hours later.

Currently if the cere is reliable and the behavior is reliable I only have one breeding male.

YES but younger, I can't put the cuffs on yet she has a pinky baby and a baby that has some pin feathers, but to small to put the cuffs on for the legs.

The little Baby probably won't need the cuffs if there's a washcloth in the box.

I have some like 400 grit (Very light texture) sandpaper coming tomorrow to re-line the boxes. So they get grip.
