One year with Nelson

Today is Nelson's first Gotcha Day. It's been a challenging year, as we continue to work on his enthusiasm for biting and his fussy eating habits. He is playful and energetic and he enjoys being with me. He likes to climb and explore and hang upside down by one foot. At times he can be noisy and he's sometimes moody. I rely a lot on my past experience with parrots, and sometimes it helps, but Nelson is definitely different from my other parrots. He got some fresh popcorn today to celebrate his first Gotcha Day.
