Criticism would also be appreciated lol

that looks so fun! it actually gives a weird-core vibe, and I love weirdcore! and I love the way rico was mid-air while the first photo was taken 🤣

Nice! I’d be careful about the little Peep chewing on the wires but it looks very fun!

Weirdcore? Never heard of it… is it because of like… the rainbow vomit that my room is?

Nice eye! Yeah, he continued to rip my screen protector apart 🄲

Surprisingly, she doesn’t chew wires. If it were Rico, I’d be worried, but surprisingly she’s only got a mild interest in the bulbs!

Very nice! Think of all the parrots who have much less then this - yours are very lucky.

Whats with the shelf grating screwed onto the wall? Wall protection?

It looks like it’s holding the perches; perches are screwed onto the grate and grate is screwed into the wall. I’ve seen people do this to make a playground on the wall and I think it’s pretty clever. It can be moved around too, and it seems easy to switch out perches. I’ve thought of doing something like this with the floor grates from JJ’s cage since I don’t use them. I don’t know if my birds would like it or be scared of it, though!

Thank you! That is very true, many parrots are not even fortunate to be let out of their cage.

Oh yeah, the cage grate is kind of wall protection. Screwing perches into the wall would absolutely ruin our walls, and selling it later on would be a pain, as those holes would have to be repaired. Also, it makes removal super easy!

Cant wait until I have the money to get more perches! I’ve got cage parts for DAYS.

Spot on! Yeah, it takes your bird a little getting used to, but it makes a great hangout spot for your bird! With heavier/bigger cage pieces, screws will be required (I learned the hard way, when it all came crashing down onto my face immediately after hanging it. 0/10.)

A wonderful space! Great job.

We turned our former "storage room" (stuff we needed to throw out or donate anyway) into a bird room, because we noticed how it was holding heat well. We go in there multiple times a day. The birds can fly freely until it's time to be in their cages. The dogs can rule the rest of the house.
Danke!

Ooh, that sounds awesome! Do you have any pictures?
