Out and About

Thought I'd share some pictures of Jimmy Bullet's walk with me from the other day. We hiked in the woods and then spent some time at the river. She even suffered me climbing out on a tree over the water while she bounced around on my shoulder.

Pionus colors are so electric in the sun. We had a great time! Violets are out here and we both eat them - exciting for her especially.

I love hearing Raven stories, the talking stories especially - he's a funny guy! Glad to hear he's well.

Love it. I have to get my WCP harness trained. I have one, but haven't trained him with it yet. My new summer mission!

I hope Fonzie takes right to it!

Jimmy was easy once she wasn't afraid of the harness. I put her on the bed and she'll lower her head to go through the head hole.

A few years back I used a FlightSuit with her, but for her the worst part of putting any harness on is threading her wings through and Aviator is much easier that way. Plus she's very strong, I didn't trust the velcro closure on the FlightSuit with her.

In any case, we go outside every day. If I don't do it soon enough, she'll hang on the door of her cage and do the "come hither" whistle

I hope he does too! He doesn't really care about his head, but I think the wings are going to be the worst. He doesn't like me touching his wings. I'll get on it.
