In the wake of Bird Talk's demise, I've re-upped my subscription to Parrots Magazine. This is a UK-based publication. The main disadvantageis it is quite an expensive subscription as these things go. However, I thought others might be interested, so here is the website:

Parrot Magazine - the latest in advice and information for parrot owners and enthusiasts.

They are aware of Bird Talk's demise and are offering discounts on single-issue "samples".

I do not like magazines that are web based. Prefer to hold them in my hands are read that way. guess it is old school now to mail a magazine.

I just received a card in the mail from Birtalk today saying they put the remainder of my subscription money into Dog Fancy. I do not even had a dog!! I called them and asked for a refund.

Thanks!! Im gonna check this out.:)

Parrots is not strictly online, they do have a print publication, which is what I subscribed to.

It is a decent magazine. Locally we get a few local publications and 'parrots magazine'. I buy it when I see it, usually a month or two behind though haha.

I'll purchase it once I get settled in AZ. Thanks for the info!
