Peeling beak?

I did sort of get some pictures today of Rowdy's beak for a member whose Sun's beak looks pretty bad. Rowdy wanted to attack and kill the camera though so they aren't the best pics, that's for sure. She was screaming and lunging and hard to photograph.

[Clueless]

I super panicked when we first rescued our two amazons. Their beaks look awful with the flaking. I thought they had some terrible illness . . . . . and was reassured when I took them to the avian veterinarian. Will pellets alone bring the beaks back to healthy looking or should we strive to feed as much vitamin A foods to them as we can?

The pellets alone can do it, but the cells in fresh foods are a bit better. Try carrots, mangoes, sweet potatoes, orange squash or leafy greens (not iceberg lettuce).

My vet also sold me a powdered vitamin that can sprinkled over the fresh foods. She had me give it to Pete for 3 months.
