Pictures Of Our Christmas Trees :)

Thanks. I always look forward to putting the angel on top. I got it from the Humane Society store--it is my "Pablo Angel". He was my so very loved dog who died in 2010 and i got an angel made to look similar to him. :) I LOVE having him watch over my tree.

we have the ultimate Charlie Brown tree

it's a little tree that started growing in our yard and my husband put in a pot over the summer.

aw, i love that "Pathetic Tree" (as the Charlie Brown tree is named). It is so cute.

I got a cat for Christmas :p

The 3 gifts under the tree are for my father. He's easiest to shop for so his gifts are bought earliest and I wrap them before I lose them. (I've lost many gifts in my bedroom closet only to find them months later)

I am really enjoying this thread. Good idea! :)

We always used to have a large tree and this year we downsized to a smaller tree. I made my mother angry by decorating it with old glass ornaments from her childhood and my father's childhood. She was dragging her feet decorating it, so I did it myself. I like the old ornaments. I don't like a lot of fancy, over the top, gaudy ornaments that she loves. I like simple, round, old ornaments. At one point we had 2 trees. One was my mother's "fancy" tree that was nice to look at and terrible to decorate/undecorate. The other tree was the "kids tree" and had a bunch of Grolier ornaments. They were all Disney and Sesame Street themed. I loved decorating the kids tree. I have all the ornaments packed away for when I get my own place.

i am noticing the tinsel garlands wrapped around a number of the trees. ah, takes me back to childhood! i have a neighbor who throws the neighborhood holiday bash and she puts up anywhere from 10-15 trees each year. it seems like fun because one will be very modern, one retro, a white one with ice blue lights and ornaments, etc. how fun! i always had a small 4 foot tree and only ornaments for that and went to a 7.5 foot tree so i got a big box of gold balls to fill it out. it takes years to really accumulate what you like. i found these Martha Stewart clip on sparkly birds and bought a pack of them a few weeks ago and they are a great touch. i also decorated the chihuahua topiary who is the greeter to my house!!! haha

Here is our tree for this year. We don't put tinsel near the bottom because the dogs will knock it off with their tails.
