The reason i want to know is because the seller sold me saying it's a pineapple conure however the DNA certificate says cinnemon pineapple conure...

Welcome to the forums! I don't know conures enough to help with identification. If you are interested in several opinions, might want to create a similar post in the Conure forum. Or, I can move this entire thread to the Conure forum. Your choice!

Your bird is a Green Cheeked Conure.

The COLOR is either pineapple or cinnamon.

Cinnamon is its own mutation, “pineapple” is actually a combination of cinnamon and yellow-sided. There is no such color as cinnamon pineapple.

In order to tell which one you have, lift the wing. If the underside of the wing is lime green your bird is a cinnamon. If the underside of the wing is yellow, your bird is a cinnamon yellow-sided AKA pineapple.

I've been seeing a lot of "cinnamon pineapple's" lately... which is basically saying that the bird is cinnamon cinamon yellowside. That's quite confusing... If it's a cinnamon and a yellowside, then it's a pineapple. Nothing more needs to be said.



I see a cinnamon Green Cheek Conure. I do not see yellowside.

There are like 50 various GCC colour combinations nowerdays its crazy. Id say closer to a pineapple x
