Is it safe? Room temperature is 22-25 Celsius, but winter is coming. I want to be prepared.

It should be, but, it really depends on the wire coils used to push heat into the quartz. It is not uncommon for new style products to use a coating on their wire coils that can be dangerous. One of our members "Noodles" has written extensively on the subject! Plus, anytime an organization used a 'term' for their product (Quartz), which provides the illusion of quality raises the hair on my arms.

Personally, I prefer the older boxy style Ceramic Heater, commonly seen and used under office desks in offices.

For general area heating, the Radiator appearing, oil filled unit that used an internal wire coil to heat the oil and then a very balance heat reflection off the outer radiator shell is one of the best units for this use.

With some additional consideration, I would totally avoid this product! There is not logical reason to use Quarz's for this application!!!
