Question about air fryers

I bought this Healthy Choice 6.5L Glass Digital Air Fryer Oven 1200W and it’s a glass bowel with stainless steel rack. The product says coating and all that free but it seems it’s just for the basket and not the rest of the air fryer.

Will using this since it can only go to 200c be safe? It seems there isn’t a air fryer out there that’s fully safe, just companies market it free of coating and toxic stuff only for the basket and not talk about the machine itself with the stuff around the heating element. Contacted the company and they said the basket is free but the machine itself has coatings but have to wait to find out.

My mum and sister always use air fryers so I need to find a traditional one not the oven ones. Is this air fryer safe to use if you have the window open, ceiling vent on and a swirly bird on the roof to remove air??

I won’t be able to get them to stop using air fryers so my only option if it’s dangerous is to give up the bird. My bird lives in the next room in a corner with both windows open and is about 6-7 metres away from where the air fryer sits with a closed door between.

Any help appreciated I live in Australia.

I really think your bird will be okay. You're taking all the precautions you can. I would worry more about whether your family members are using air fresheners, candles, incense, spray repellants and whether they pay close attention whenever they cook using a large or small appliance.

That’s all fine here, it’s just mainly the cooking stuff. I got them to stop using all that stuff a while ago. Took a while to get my sister to stop using incense in her room. She stopped after I promised I’d destroy everything she owns if he died. Lucky he was on the complete opposite side of the house to her room in the beginning.

Tho did get a email from the company today saying their product team responded and they said this. We have now received confirmation that the AFG605 does not contain Teflon or PTFE components. The unit is made up of glass, steel including the heating element, metal fan and fan cover, along with the external plastic housing. So unless they’re lying it should be fine with the air fryer with the extra steps anyways.

Only thing I’m struggling is finding an electric kettle since I can’t find a good one here in Australia.
