is 3/4 inch spacing okay for a quaker? at the store they had a few quakers and it looked like they couldnt fit through. just making sure.

The cage I have for my Quaker has 1/2'' bar spacing. I think 3/4'' might be pushing it... I would honestly go 5/8'' max, especially if you're going to be bringing home a just weaned baby.

ETA: This is the cage I have for my little guy. I really like it.

I would be afraid to go 3/4 . If they get their head stuck through it and then panic it could be really bad. My cages are 5/8 for my GCC.

1/2 " is the best for a small bird.

The only problem with the 1/2 " spacing you are limited to a smaller size cage. The large cages are always 5/8.

I would go with 1/2" personally, with 5/8" being the max.

Sprite has 3/4 bar spacing and I don't think he would ever escape through the bars. EVER! lol! And quakers are bigger than Sprite, so I think he'd be just fine in a 3/4 bar spacing.

thats for that imput atwee. but, i think i will go by majority(sorry!) and stay with 5/8 max. doees the one i posted above seem good?

That cage seems perfect, it's basically the same cage I posted just 10 inches shorter so I think it will work.
