Friday evening Romeo suffered from some sort of fit or seizure just as he came out of his cage and landed on my bedroom floor it lasted approx 10 seconds, he was in a daze and his head was going back and he was lying on his front but not shaking it was strange and didn't seem like him as he has never done this before, it happened twice as i was putting him back into his cage on the same night it occured and frankly it scared me half to death considering i've never had a bird before and i didn't know what to do. The seizures were hours appart and they havn't occured since the happening. Friday night i did try and call Amucus emergancy vets but they were closed so i re-tryed saturday morning but they were only open within the half hour that day and i couldn't attend that consultation but the vetinary said to monitor him over the week and to see if he perks up over the course of the week. In which he seems to be ok, back to his usual self churping away. Would it be ideal to take him for a check-up anyhow to see why he had a seizure twice and now seems fine?
