Hello there guys,

yesterday i welcomed a new member in my family. she is such a cutie little birdie, aged 6-7months. she is a little bit nippy on everything.. well specially my fingers :chomp:. maybe it's the nerves, but if you guys have any ideas to lower down the nipping a bit it would be great lol. :white1:

Oh and guys could you tell me what kind of Lovebird is mimi? 'Cuz i never seen that color on a lovebird before.

P.S. sorry for making you tilt your heads to see the pictures, i don't know how to rotate them here. :19:

She's beautiful! :)
Not sure of mutation though, some people with lovebird experience will prolly be able to tell you soon enough.

As for the nippiness, I would give target training a shot, loads of info about it on here.

Mimi is an adorable white-faced lovebird! She could possibly be a slate, mauve, or dark factored? It's hard to tell the actual mutations until the final molt where you will see her actual coloring. The three is just based on how she looks like as of now.

I see that she still has some brown on her so it could be that she's teething so you would have to teach her acceptable bite pressures, but trick training is a great idea as Psittaciformes stated.

Hello, Mimi, you are a beautiful little girl. Hope to see more photos of you, you adorable little cutie-pie.

What a pretty little lovie you have there. Looking forward to seeing more photos of her.
