Seeking Input Please

I'very had my lovie, Perri for 2 weeks. I used to see it drinking occasionally, but the last couple of days Perri hasn't been spotted drinking by me. Is this normal? Perri is very active, but I'm not having any luck gaining its trust. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Are you using a water bottle or water bowl? If the bird is visiting the dish, most likely you will see things dunked/floating in the bowl. Where is you compared to the cage location? I don't always see my parrot drinking every day, but I know he has based on the "soup".

As for the rest: how old is your lovie? which species? was it hand fed or parent raised?

Thank you for the information on the water. It's a dish and I have seen some stuffed dunked in it. Not sure on what species of lovie Perri is. According to the ad, the lovie was newly weaned, but it did not say specifically if it was hand fed or parent fed.
