Sleep Tubes

I know Happy Huts are bad for pet parrots but what about sleep tubes? I can't seem to find any discussion about them. Obviously you don't have the danger of choking on threads but what about inducing hormones?

Anything with material thread fibres is bad news
And yes, dark places will get hormones kicked into gear, not a good idea at all
