Since I own conures, I decided to put the post in this section but, it applies to any breeder. What do breeders do with chicks that are slightly imperfect? In other words definitely not show quality but, would still make good pets. The reason I ask is because hopefully sometime next year I am looking to add a rescue to my flock. I had an opportunity recently to get a slightly imperfect one from a breeder (one had a wing issue and the other had a bad left eye)but, it happened to be a pair and she wasn't parting out just one. And for those who have been following my posts I had a failed attempt at a rescue this weekend. I am limited to one more otherwise my wife says she will fly the coop.
