Smell under wings?

Wowzers. This is peculiar indeed. It seems that infections have been cleared, but to rule it out again...could it be another yeast infection due to it being warmer? Maybe the foods again? Foods not being digested well in the crop and carrying to the wings when preening? I will say that, though I have a tiel...he can have a smell around this time, but then it's gone after a few days or a week. Sometimes when giving a bath they give off that ''wet bird'' smell.

Is Ollie and Finley molting?

I smell Baby's hiney and it doesn't smell, as much as he does birdy poo poo bombs. Can't help but to rub my nose in his feathers either (um, aside from his birdy butt of course)!

LOL, the scent of a bird is awesome! Even the pungent macaws are wonderful!!

Agree!! Nothing gets my nose like tiels and especially toos. Just like sticking my nose in a marshmallow!

Okay okay so today after they both had a really really long shower where I also misted them with some bird spray there is no trace oft he scent on either of them and it has been 24 hours since I smelled anything. I have NO IDEA what is going on with them. It does seem to come and go....

could it be that Ollie's deodorant runs out the day before and he forgets to get a new can? :P

Yeah how irresponsible of him he's a year and a half old now, when do they learn? Lol
