I have to laugh at our weather here today.
This is what it looks like outside this morning:

Yikes! I’ll have to call my parents and see if they got hit as well :). It’s the end of April....Mother Nature missed the memo that spring has sprung??

Haha, apparently! Last Sunday we went to a cookout in short sleeves.
Here's hoping it missed your parents:)

No luck, they got several inches of snow....out gardening last week and shovelling this weekend :). I vividly remember growing up with Alberta weather (and some of it not very fondly lol).

Lol- I woke up to snow about a week ago and it has hardly snowed here this year!

Horrible, Mother Nature must have mis-read the calendar, or thinks Alberta is in the Southern Hemisphere!

Lol! We got snow here too :(

Crazy, isn't it?
How much did y'all end up getting? We ended up with about 9 inches, all is almost completely melted now. Starting to look forward to seeing leaves and flowers on the Lilac instead of snow.

but for the snow/cold, parts of Canada would hold a lot more appeal to me :)

Cleveland has had three snows this months. Is Canada dropping the border latitudes the way we did with Mexico back in the day????????????????????

LOL...As soon as I saw the photo I thought of Gordon Lightfoot's song 'Alberta Bound'..."Oh the prairie lights are burnin' bright, The Chinook wind is a-movin' in, Tomorrow night I'll be Alberta bound..."...You Albertan's wouldn't have it any other way...:D. And you can count on that Chinook to mess ya around eh???

As a fellow Canadian and Newfoundlander by', 'I reserve da rights te giv yer a dig'...ha ha ha...

From a Cheeky Newfie,

Debbie

Gail, I sent that snow down to you after the Rb requested it:)

Debbie, I love that song!
I am originally from West Va. and the weather here was a shock when I first moved here.
How long have you been in Australia? Newfoundland is on my must see list, it looks so beautiful!
Loved the "dig"!

Sent you a PM re future NL visit...you'd best start practicing your Newfanese ha ha!
