I live near the Schaumburg area in Illinois and I need to find a new loving home for my super sweet and cuddly Sun Conure, Mochi. I say he's a male, but I am not positive.
An irresponsible breeder sold him to me at 5 weeks old. He will be 4 in July. He has been hand fed and raised by me and LOVES cuddling, hanging out on your shoulder, giving kisses, playing in towels, and demanding lots of pets. He is a very loving and docile bird. He has never bitten me to the point of bleeding, but has bitten men with beards. He seems to not like beards.
He is potty trained (to an extent). I will of course explain how to do do this. He is okay with other birds. He was raised around lovebirds and parakeets. He won't like sharing your shoulder though.

Last year I adopted an F2 Savannah cat. At the time I knew I had a very loving home for Mochi. He has been living at my boyfriend's dads and his sister loves him dearly. She was extremely devastated that her dad told her that she can't keep him any longer. I would love to keep him, but he is not safe here at all with a cat with such a high prey drive.
Mochi deserves a loving and permanent home. I am charging $75 for everything. This includes his toys, treats, food, and large cage.
Please only message me if you can tolerate all types of Sun Conure sounds. They are not quiet birds. I am willing to meet up and drive a little for the right home.
