Terrible weather.

"Oh, the weather outside is frightful"

I hate the snow and it has been snowing like crazy here. I know it's pretty and all, but.......There's about 9 inches out there so far and it's still snowing. I was supposed to have a Dr.s apt. today, but my mom is snowed in at my brothers house and I can't make the hour and a quarter (in good weather) drive on account of my injuries, so I had to cancel it. Part of my town has no power, but luckily I still have mine. I hate when we do lose power because I don't have a fireplace or wood stove with which to heat the house and keep my birds warm. The snow plow just went by and left a lovely 2 1/2 foot mound at the bottom of my driveway. I snow blowed once and by the time I was done, there was already another 2 inches back where I snow blowed first. I don't think my hands will hold out long enough to clear the drive again, they are already partially numb. Did I happen to mention that I HATE SNOW! Anyone else getting snowed in?

SNOW I like to see it in pictures but thats it. Horrible cold stuff, we are lucky that we don't get much snow here, not usually that cold but this year has been bitterly cold on some days then the next its really mild, very odd. I do hope your power stays on theres nothing worse than power cuts, that something that we get a lot of, then off goes the heating Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr . Hope the snow soon stops, and it clears up really quickly for you.

OMG, that is a lot of snow there, bet your daughter loves it, did you make the snow horse, it is really great, so cool. It looks really pretty, but very cold. What does the pup think of the snow,

Yup, Meghan and I made the snowhorse. We were a bit bored, can you tell? The puppy loves the snow, as long as we are out there playing in it with him, but if we are not, then he cries till I bring him back in the house. He is a bit spoiled.

Wow, thats brilliant, the last time we had snow here we didn't even have enough to build a very small snowman. not that I'm complaining.

What a pretty young helper you have there, how old is she, it seems years since mine were that young and sweet. Kitty is nice, how old.

Thank you! Thats very kind of you to compliment her. Meghan is 7 and Mitzie is almost 4 months old. I don't think the kitty is going to grow much more, she isn't much larger than when we took her in. The kitty is an absolute terror, but she makes up for it by being so darn lovable.
