Paco - age 28 - Yellow Naped/Yellow Crowned
There is an amazing bird rescue in my area named Mickaboo! They take in unwanted, neglected, sick, aggressive, and homeless birds. I rescued my two amazons from here and am becoming a foster in the next month or two.
If you could, please donate $10 in honor of someone (maybe a mother?) before Sunday! A few more $10 donations with an honor or tribute and they have a chance of getting $500!!! That is huge - their vet bills are over 10k per month, and it will help put a dent in it!
I know some of you are willing to chip in every now and then to rescue a bird/for transportation, so maybe everyone can open their hearts a little for this, even if they are not in your area. They recently transported a large number of Macaws and Cockatoos to an out of state sanctuary!!!!
Plus it will make you feel really good I'm sure
also - tax deductible!!!!!!
