Urine Color!? help!

Hey all! Roxy (6 month old) is doing fine playing,preening, eating and drinking. There is no unhealthy sings! But when I noticed her droppings today just now I got worried! I'm going to travel in few days and I really hope I can squeeze a vet appointment tomorrow! She is eating colored fruit flavored pellets, maybe that's why her urine is so green (image attached)! please help I don't wanna travel not knowing if she is alright!

I wouldn't worry. So long as there's no blood present. My jenday has had green BMs before, but they vary depending on what he's eaten, when he's eaten, if he's drunk, etc.

Keep an eye on them, though. Birds have very fast metabolisms, so you'll generally know if somethings wrong fairly quickly (provided its related to digestion, urinary).

Also, forgot to mention, as they often pass faecal matter and urine at the same time, some of the matter can leach into the urine, staining it in a sense. So it doesn't necessarily mean he's urinating 'green' liquid. It might just appear that way due to the type of BM he's just passed.

Im not an expert [but it looks fine to me] . My Rb2 came on Zupreem pellets[and I freaked out ]. It made her droppings weird color.

Rox, like Nexus & PB have mentioned, Roxy's presentation looks fine and while her urates can be clear, white or creamy colored and maybe sort of thick, their urine is usually unlike what we might expect.....

That looks normal to me. My BFA eats only natural colored pellets, fresh foods (we're working on that anyway) and seeds and her poo is greenish too.

that kinda looks like echos. Hes on colored pellets as well and his fecel matter is green like that and the white is usually white but sometimes the 2 colors may mix. Just keep an eye on it

Looks okay to me. Is this a sudden change? Anything new in her diet? The only time I get alarmed over feces is when the urates turn bright, bright green, bright yellow, brown, or obvious blood.

See if the vet has time to do a fecal sample at the clinic. Doesn't take long. Of course I'm assuming your bird is an established patient. If so, your vet my examine a fecal sample at the clinic.

Snoopy's poop seems to vary in color depending on what she eats, and gets greener when she is eating a lot of greens (a little bit of parsley will REALLY do it). And as Nexus noted some of the color will sometimes bleed into the urine. When I really freaked was after I gave her a little piece of beet to try and then forgot about it when I saw the resulting "bloody" poop

My birds all poop different colors depending on what they just ate. I say keep an eye on it, make a vet appointment for your own sake, but no need to panic
