Parrots as a species have excellent visual acuity. When combined with a super fast mind, they can fly at speed in dense forests, etc...

Their limitation comes with darkness as their vision demises as night sets in place.

I either read or saw it somewhere that birds have 4 cones. Humans have only 3 cones. So birds have an added visual spectrum that we don't have.
