Stupid rancher (Gallagher skit)
Gallagher (a comedian) talking about settlers.
The first people came from England. They got ashore, looked around and said..."Good enough." They settled!
There were other people who weren't satisfied. They went west. When their wagon wheels broke down, that's where they stayed. You know those houses that have a pair of wagon wheels in front? Those were the people who were too dumb to fix their wagon!
The rest of the people went across mile after mile of the Great Plains. Then they hit the Rocky Mountains. A mile straight up. Some of the people said "BEEP" it! We're stopping here. That's how Denver Colorado was born.
But a few people went further. They said "let's keep going!" They did. They crossed the mountains! They crossed the deserts! And they founded California. But there were a couple who wanted to keep going, so you know what they did? They built PIERS!!! And they went to the edge and looked outwards. And eventually, they went to Hawaii!
And that is the story of settlers!
