Mr Byrd never has liked peanuts with darker colored hulls. Will slam dunk to bottom of cage. We have been together for 33 years btw. In past years there seems to have been only a few darker hulled peanuts. Call me paranoid, I suspect these are lower grade peanuts, perhaps just a bad peanut year.. Wine and coffee beans have been"cheapened up" too. Where can we order higher quality peanuts? Thanks.

Sadly, it has been a very bad year for good Human+ quality peanuts. What had been classified as Human grade in the past barely makes class two, with some barely making class three.
What little we allowed our DYHA to have, we have cut back to a point we provide them at a single half at a time and that only once a day. We have long ago moved him away from peanuts to other plant based and no ground (root) based nuts.
