Just wanted to check if there's any ways to make GCC shut up every morning ? My green cheek will be shouting all the way from 7am to as he like sometimes took up to 2hours or even more! And every day he does that without fail! I had complaint by my neighbor! What should I do or what can I do to stop this any advise?

There are many threads here on the conure forum with advice. Has he learned to self entertain and play with toys? Any parrot can get codependent and learn to scream for attention. Hope for the best for you!

Yes I did bought 3 toy for him! And I see him play at night climbing up and down the toy. But once I switch off light he will scream for awhile during the night. And morning standard timing 6:55am to 7am will start scream like as he got rape by someone for few hours.. Once I'm out to ask him to shut up he will stop and I got back to my room he will start again! Do cover cloth outside its cage help?

I can't find any thread similar, Or they need partner to stop all this screaming? Or a pair will build up the noise?

Well maybe he may like a night light? And yes, blankies for their cages help if its the sun or day light that is waking him up. Maybe he needs more toys as well. He needs foraging toys, plastic toys, interactive toys, shredible toys, ones he can crawl into. Lilo has at least 11 toys in her cage and she is pretty quiet. But if I am not up before 9:00 she will scream and I have to take her cover off. But it seems like in your situation, you could try covering him up at night. :)

Also, I think two birds would just make a choir. Im sorry he is being frustrating. It is highly annoying to have your peaceful sleep interrupted by a screaming maniac! Oh I mean a sweet little innocent angel! :D

Two will definitely increase the noise. Yesterday I added a tiel to my flock and the noise level increased. They are just chirping though. No screams.

By what you have written He just want be with you, That's why he's quiet when you're in the room with him and when you leave he screams for you to come back.

Hi
I have only had my baby two days. Within minutes of covering the cage he goes to sleep regardless of the time of day.

Morning vocalizations are a pretty normal part of having a conure--and many other parrots for that matter. My Sun conure used to be much noisier initially--but because I did not reward her screaming with my attention (yelling at them to shut up is a reward, as they perceive it as a contact call) her vocalizations have reduced greatly. Now she only really screams if she can hear us, but can't see us--or if we leave the room without taking her. You'll never be able to stop the calling, but you can certainly do things to lessen the amount.

Covering them with a blanket gives them some security and lets them know when it's "bed time". I find that a set schedule for sleeping (we put Newman to bed at 9pm and wake her up at 10am most days) gets them into a routine where they have expectations about when they'll receive attention. This, in my experience, limits the contact calls dramatically.
