Nail cutting?

Just curious how much the vet will charge, and how traumatized Chuey will be afterwards. He's not to fond of being held.

Have you ever thought about trying to do it yourself? You can check out some videos on YouTube and then decide if you're up to trying it or just go ahead and make an appt at the vet. I have no idea how much they charge. Whenever I clip the nails, I do a small amount. At least if you have the vet do it, you can observe & maybe feel up to doing it the next time. Sorry, I guess I'm not really answering your question.

Thanks for your input...I just went to the vet this morning and made an appointment to cut his nails for $21

Wow, I don't have any experience but is that the going rate? Dogs aren't that expensive & they have more to cut. 😄

My vet charges $5 for nails and $10 for wing clip. But that is on top of the cost for a wellness checkup. She does a very good job.
I would do it but would probably have an emergency room visit for myself. :)
