Some day I would like to get a second parrot. Not know I do not have the time. I really wants a Pionus But I feel like another Pyrrhura would be the best since I have a BCC.

For others that have 2 Pyrrhura Do they get along. Do you have a better chance of getting 2 birds that like eachother if you get 2 birds of the same kind. I know you never get a second bird for your Birds you get a second for you. BUT It would be nice to have birds that are friends.

Sprinkles is a black cap, not a green cheek. (obviously - but you are asking about 2 green cheeks rather than a black cap and a green cheek)

You do have a higher chance of two birds getting along the closer they are in species, but it is no guarantee.

My first conure, a cherry head, was cage buddies with Casey, my first cockatiel.

Noel never got along with my second conure, a mitred. Likewise, Charlie (mitred) and Casey do not get along.

Charlie did kind of get along with my third conure, Jyade, a red throat, but they weren't really bonded. They got along well enough to preen each other, but that was about it.

I haven't had any Pyrrhuras yet, but they do generally get along best with other Pyrrhuras or other conure species. It's still up to the individual bird.

Too bad you aren't interested in getting another conure(s) right now, as I know of 3 green cheeks in need of a home! ;) Two are being offered for adoption together, although I don't think it's a requirement? They just get along quite well!
