So Skittles has been doing something a LOT lately. I mean, he's always done his "lean forward, back flat, vibrate" behavior and I know it means excitement or 'gimme gimme'.

But lately he's been doing something else a LOT. The feathers of his entire body will fluff up a bit, his wings will be slightly lifted and he'll rock his body left and right while his head and neck form the infinity symbol. At first I thought it was a 'territorial' type thing, but he only does it when I'm nearby and he's always calm when he does it.

Three times he's tried to mate with my arm. I finally got him to stop it only now he thinks its a chew toy and literally tries chewing up my arm.

Is the dancing what I fear it is?

Is it Hormone time? jh

It has been a crazy and intense Hormone season this year. Parrots that have a history of mild flows have been experiencing over the top craziness.

Not sure that I would have traded the mating response for the bitting as bitting is not seasonal and could last for months
