I'm going to be calling the vet as soon as I write this post. A couple of days ago, I noticed that I could hear my 7 mo old GCC breathing, like when i picked him up and put him near my face, I could hear the breath coming out, if that makes sense. I had never heard that before, so I checked his nares and they seemed clear. Now today, I notice that his nares look a little clogged! he's not sneezing or anything, just breathing a little loud. I am currently sick with the flu, could he have gotten it from me? Aside from the breathing, he's eating and playful like normal.

Have any of your birds experienced this?

While he could have plugged nares, you didn't give him a cold or the flu, but if you've already spoken with your vet, you'll have found this out.....
