Companion/Sibling passing away.

My 1 1/2 year old Lovebird, Marceline's brother passed away recently. Ever sense, as expected, she's been very sad and lonely. I can't afford to get another lovebird as a companion either.

Any suggestions on making her feeling better? Should I keep her even more busy with for foraging toys? Mirrors? Playing bird sounds?

Poor thing

Maybe look into trick training with a clicker, it may help to take her mind off things. Also foraging toys to keep her busy.

It's so sad when their companions pass on, when my friend lost one of their African greys the other grey took it very hard and began plucking badly.

Lots of one on one. Give her a chance to truly bond with you. The sweetest bird I ever owned was a single lovebird. There is also chance another companion would not be accepted.
