Hi, I'm new to the community and I need some help. We rescued a wild rosella with a brocken wing he is feeding himself and drinking but on the left hand side of his neck all the feathers are missing and it seems swallon. Can anyone shed some light on why its swallon:red1:

Hello and Welcome to the forum!

I'm not familiar with your local wildlife rules and regulations. Even if it is legal for you to keep the Rosella, a wildlife or wild bird sanctuary may be better equipped to provide veterinary and long term care for the injured bird.

If you do keep the Rosella, please follow strict quarantine protocols to protect your other birds.

Best of luck, I hope the Rosella fully recovers from the injuries. Please let us know how it goes.
