How common is it for Quakers to puff up. We just did a vet visit with the flock, and the vet mentioned it could be a sign of illness.

We've had Thor since last November and he's always puffed up when on his perch, or with us. It isn't constantly, but it does happen.

Should I be worried?

Cheers!

Sometimes, parrots will puff up when they're cold or when they're sleepy, but it isn't normal for one to be puffed up so much of the time. A vet visit would be a good idea.
