Can I get CITES II import permit for my Green Wing after 18 years?

Dear All,

Could any one help me please?

I adopted a Greenwing Macaw around 18 years ago from the ex-owner when he/she was around 6 months old.

So i don't have the CITES II import permit.

I just knew where the ex-owner to bought him/her, a shop in Kowloon Hong Kong.

But I live in Hong Kong. I am planning immigration with him/her from Hong Kong to Italy in the future.

I know I need a CITES II import permit if I want he/she come with me.

I can tell I will not leave him behind me.

So can I please application a CITES II import permit now?

Could you please help to try a way to application the CITES II import permit for me?

Or any other way to help me please?

I really need it. Please.

I don't have experience with Cites paperwork, but found this site for export from Hong Kong: https://www.cites.org/eng/cms/index.php/component/cp/country/CN

Importation to Italy: https://www.cites.org/eng/cms/index.php/component/cp/country/IT
