Crabby birdie!

Peep cracks me up.

He doesn't like baths, no matter how he gets them (spray bottle, dish at bottom of cage, sink, so far it is not a good time). But, he gets a bath about twice a week anyway. Since he's mounting right now, the bath really helps the irritation but he doesn't see it that way. Today he got a bath and has been grouchy with me, he never bites me but is crabby. So I offered a few sunflower seeds as a peace offering and he grudgingly received them.

He always forgives me by the next day...

Are you saying a GCC doesn't like baths(Joking)?! Glad you have a forgiving bird, long periods of grumpy birds aren't the best lol
Birds forgiving you is one of my favorite things.
I really hate doing it but I have to pick up gizmo because he likes to poke holes in my shirt but he makes the cutest squeaks in rejections.

Ha Ha, I don't have a GCC, but my male quaker is a little pig pen. If I left it up to him, I'm not sure he'd ever bathe on his own. He gets a bath three times a week and he grumps up at me every time.
