Hahaha, people after my own heart. I do have a pic. I'll link it because I doubt everyone wants to see my gnarly face slash ;)

Yesterday he was perfectly fine. Actually he was kind of velcro-y and seemed to know he'd done something way wrong because the side I got bit on, is the side he prefers to hang out on, but yesterday he stuck to the left side of me instead of the right.

Although he kept trying to preen my stitches for me. :D I told him we'll do it on Friday. I'm half considering snipping them myself and letting Kazi yank them out. Probably not the most sanitary or medically approved way to go about removing stitches, though LOL! But I bet he'd have a great time.

Surprisingly enough, the lip doesn't hurt at all and it hasn't. I thought it'd be agony today and yesterday, but nope. Know what does hurt like the dickens, though? The site where I got my tetanus jab. My shoulder is ACHING and has been for two days. Go figure!

Which hospital did you go to? You probably didn't go to Winchester but your wait wasn't that long. Yeah that Tdap vaccine does hurt. Not so much when you get it but for several days afterwards and you can get a nasty knot from it too. Glad your not in any pain. Its just one of those things that can happen.

I went to Jefferson Memorial since they're all of 10 minutes from the house. I was thrilled with the service. Must've been a really slow day for them! Lucky for me to get bit then rather than at 11pm when I'm sure that place is covered up with drunks and suicidal gambling addicts!

WOW that looks like it hurt!!! I'm so glad it doesn't bother you much. Probably not the best idea to let Kazi pull the stitches. LOL

My husband, when he came home Monday night and saw it he was horrified. He couldn't believe it didn't hurt like hell, but it really doesn't!

My shoulder, on the other hand...yowie. I'll be glad when that stops because I have a lot of work to get done over the next few weeks and that means heavy lifting every day! I need that arm to work right!

Winchester is a great hospital but my goodness the wait is horrible. The nurse in me is coming out sorry, but for the shoulder the more you work it the better it will feel in the long run. Glad you got such quick service at Jefferson. Being that close to the casino and racetrack I'd say that place would be hopping late at night.

Kazi must have landed in a fantastic home! Although I didn't have stitches - Secret mangled my hand in a very vicious attack this spring. The bird managed to hang on tight to both hands during a training lesson to step up - and then proceeded to bite and bite and bite . . . .

A few more episodes similar to that . . . and I am now - in Secret's mind and my own - a fearful owner. The bird is staying and I know, somehow, someday, we will be buddies. I still work with the parrot about 10 to 15 minutes a day - one on one. Wonder if I should consider a hypnotist to get me past this and back to my original naive state of mind?

Ow, ow OOOwwwch! That looks like it hurt!

A doctor who stitched my son's face up when he was little told me that Vitamin E oil can help minimise scarring...you can buy it in little bottles or just break open vit E capsules. Apply daily (or twice a day) for the first month or so after stitches come out. It seemed to help with my son.
