Hi everyone, I was just wondering if its normal for a yellow sided gcc to have wings half green but the part of the wings they clip are coming back blue, so half green, half blue. Are all yellow sided gcc wings half blue?
Thanks

Yes, the flight feathers on almost all GCCs are blue, including yellow sided.

Cinnamon and Pineapples have light blue..but they are still blue. I should have mentioned that, since Phlox is a cinnamon after all. :)

Edit: Actually I think Phlox is a Cinnamon Turquoise, because that's what the breeder claimed and she isn't quite the same as a Cinnamon. We'll see as she gets older.

You'll notice flight feathers on the majority of 'green' colored species are that cobalt blue. :)

That's right. My Larry's flight feathers are blue. I can't wait till they grow. The breeder clilpped them before I got him for safety purposes :)
